Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Buyer Intelligence Platform (“BIP,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the BIP website or platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. BIP is a sole proprietorship based in Burlington, Vermont, operating under the business name Buyer Intelligence Platform. BIP is not a corporation or limited liability company.
1. The Service
BIP provides software that helps buyer’s agents research and organize information about properties and buyers, including AI-assisted summaries and analysis. The Service is intended for use by real estate professionals in the course of their business.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Each account is for one agent unless your plan states otherwise. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions, billing and credits
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each month until canceled. The Professional plan is $179 per month and includes 175 credits per billing cycle. Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable sales or similar taxes, which are calculated and shown at checkout. Unused credits expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over. Promotional or trial credits, if offered, have no cash value and may expire. Cancellation and refunds are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms. We may change prices or plan features with advance notice to subscribers; changes apply at the next renewal after the notice.
4. AI-generated content and your responsibility
The Service uses artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes or produce incomplete or outdated information. Output is provided for general information and decision support. It is not legal, financial, appraisal, inspection, tax or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it or sharing it with clients, and for complying with the laws, licensing rules and professional obligations that apply to you.
5. Your content and client information
You keep ownership of the information you enter or upload (“Your Content”), including information about your clients. You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service for you. You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so complies with applicable law and your obligations to your clients. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the Service; attempt to access other users’ accounts or data; share your login with others; scrape, copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service; use the Service to violate any law, fair housing requirement or anyone’s rights; or upload malicious code. We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.
7. Third-party services and data
The Service may rely on third-party providers, data sources and payment processing. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and your use of it may be subject to its terms. AI features are provided through a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI). Content you submit to an AI feature, including documents, buyer information and property data, is sent to that provider for processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
BIP and its software, design, text and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription for your internal business purposes. No other rights are granted.
9. Term and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or non-payment. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue, including ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that output will be accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BIP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new date and, for material changes, notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the Service after the date shown means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
